All mentioned functionalities released for Webswing development are based on experience of working closely with clients.
We are not only focusing on heavily developed solutions with the best possible support but on further development as well. Adapting to new technologies is now easier with our new release version 21.2.
New features are released in October 2021 with Webswing 21.2 version.

Added and improved features:
Server Security API optimisation
Server Security API was reworked and starting this version it has been made solely Webswing native solution to ensure higher security standards of software’s running on our platform.
Server Extendibility API
We also remade Server Extendibility API excellently. Now, customers can have their own implementation of file-service and work with files without any intervention into the core of the Webswing.
PNG Rendering with High DPI (Java 11)
Now our clients can use much better version of the capabilities of high DPI devices for high-quality content PNG rendering to the end-user. However, this is only available for Java 11 and higher.
Rendering optimisation and improved performance for low bandwidth network
It consists of fluent and smooth working experience in low bandwidth for slower or remote networks. At that moment, you can work much faster. This feature actually opens up the new possibilities to wider use cases in the business.
Webswing & Admin on a single web server
Since Webswing 21.2 and the Admin Console, it is once again possible to run on the embedded web server. From now, it is available on the same web server, which is a great advantage for all our users. It also perfectly optimises the infrastructure requirements.
Session Pool Resilience
The Webswing team much improved Session Pool Resilience. Currently, it survives to restart without losing previously managed users’ sessions. This feature has a huge meaning for lots of our customers. Therefore, we decided to use the word ‘Resilience’ as the marketing code name of the Release 21.1.
Load Balancer Improvements
The new perfect algorithm and additional configurations are now available. The Webswing company developed these features, too.
New Admin Console
The enormous advantage is that it consists of better user experience. New Admin Console has improved user experience and simplified configuration. The new console design is just a bonus to that.
Direct File Transfer
Now, clients of Webswing also can try the perfect Direct File Transfer. Using connection to upload and download files with direct file transfer.
Configuration Blacklist in Admin Console
We created a unique configuration blacklist. It means for example: turn off session recording without possibility to turn it back on in Admin Console.
Extended Drag & Drop File support
The Webswing’s users can drop files more efficiently and easily. They can drop files from the file system directly.
