Webswing Release Cycle
The release cycle of Webswing follows the Java Support Roadmap, which means the new versions are released twice a year. Long Term Support (LTS) version is released every 18 months.
Bug fixes and security patches are publicly released once a month for the most recent major version.
Long Term Support (LTS)
We support all major versions with public updates and fixes for 6 months and LTS versions of our software release for paying customers for at least 3 years, or indefinitely for customers with extended support plans. Thanks to our predictable release cycle all customers of Webswing can also plan their releases.

We work alongside our enterprise customers to help them get the best results with Webswing. Whether they need help with integration, cluster deployment or are missing a feature, our team of developers will make sure customers get everything done in time. We help our customers to overcome potential troubles and move forward no matter what stage of deployment they are at.
Upcoming Releases & Version Number Change
Every version following after the Webswing 2.7 version will be numbered with following pattern: YY.n.m — where YY stands for last two digits of year it is released in, n stands for number of released version in that year which is either 1 or 2 and m is 1–5 minor patch release number.

Note: Since Webswing version 21.1 released early in April 2021, our software is not anymore provided under any form of AGPL license.
