This release combines a number of substantial improvements and new features to help users handle Webswing deployment and management faster and easier.

In the previous release, Webswing introduced the Compositing Window Manager that offers better window handling as it renders each window into its own canvas. In version 20.1, Webswing comes with an improved support for mixing Swing with native HTML content and Window Undocking, that allows users to undock a Swing window outside the current document and open it in a new browser window.

Webswing also added simple audio support for playing audio clips by sending the clips over the network to be played by the browser.

What’s new?

What about next steps?

There are three different approaches Webswing users can take while considering the future of their software products. All of them have specific advantages and characteristics that are summarized in Webswing Migration Framework.

If you are considering the solution and have any questions, you can contact sales or support. If you feel like testing the Webswing feel free to Download it.
